Hum dum dum ditty dum
Hum dum dum

Oh the wind is lashing lustily
And the trees are thrashing thrustily
And the leaves are rustling gustily
So it’s rather safe to say
That it seems that it may turn out to be
It feels that it will undoubtedly
It looks like a rather blustery day.

I think I need to add some rocks to my pockets. The wind is was relentless Sunday and I think I even experience wind shear driving home from the nail place. Speaking of the nail place, I treated myself and got my paws and claws done, and – – the girl who does my feet had a surprise for me during the message. She did the normal rub down but then brought out two smooth river stones all nice a toasty and rubbed my feet and legs. Oh my gosh you wouldn’t think rocks are anything special but these were. The combination of heat and the stones made me want to melt right there in the chair. I attempted a little yard work earlier but it was a fight and Mother Nature won. I did manage to get some windows washed and cleaned out the front flower bed, which come to think of it has a growing population of leaves again. Went out to dinner with friend Saturday night and even braved Toys R’ Us so one of them could pick up some gifts for her niece and nephew. I made it through the store without incident. <g> At dinner my I had ordered a steak cooked medium and it came out well done. We waited and waited for the waiter to come back but he was nowhere in sight. That’s when Janis flagged down another waiter and she had to yell so he could hear what she was saying, something about my steak over cooked. Well all the other tables heard this, everyone was looking at us. Now I’m feeling guilty. After our waiter came over other tables started complaining of the same thing. Before we knew it almost the whole section of the restaurant wanted their steaks redone. The manager came out and you would have thought he was a celebrity because he was accosted by just about every table. Whoops. Needless to same my new steak came out when everyone was done eating so I told them to keep it. After Toys R’ Us, I made a trip to Braums and had my dinner of a pecan hot fudge and Carmel sundae. LOL

  1. Awwwww… come on Sandy…. You can tell me. The original plan was to go to Braum’s for dinner all along. The “torched” steak was just an excuse!!! HAHA!!!

Those stones you were talking about……? Check this place out in Arlington —>

On the left is a heading of “Spa Services.” Click on that and you’ll see the Hot Stone Massage. I can recommend this place as well as any of their Spa services or packages because I’ve done them. Well worth the extra indulgence!
